I am a mathematics professor at Wofford College who explores patterns in nature like the stripes on a zebra (why are they the same size on different zebras?) and the rhythm of fireflies (why do some species fire in synchrony?). In thespirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
